Applications

VF-3 is suitable for pump concrete, high-strength concrete, precast concrete and etc.

VF-3 is especially suitable for fair-faced concrete, ornamental concrete, self- leveling cement concrete and self-leveling mortar.

VF-3 has low alkali content; it can increase the durability of structural unit and reduce the probability of alkali-aggregate reaction in the structural unit.

VF-3 can increase the concrete cohesiveness (especially middle and low grade concrete) and reduce the gradual loss of concrete slump constant.

VF-3 can be used for non-metal wear-proof lawn material (dry-mixed mortar), self-leveling mortar and self-leveling color mortar.

VF-3 can raise hardness and smooth finish of ground surface, there is no surface checking and the color is bright.

When VF-3 is mixed used with land plaster (Dosage: 0.3~1%), then it can increase water-reducing effect, improve plastic viscosity and also can raise the surface finish quality, durability and abrasion resistance of plastering.

VF-3 is suitable for calcium aluminate cement and sulphate aluminium cement and can be used in making shaped and atypic firebrick or castable refractory and etc.

VF-3 especially fit for making castable refractory with low cement consumption, it can increase pressive strength, rupture strength of corhart and density, reduce apparent porosity in order to extend the service life.

VF-3 can be used in engineering of oil well and cementing of well.

VF-3 hasn’t precipitate at low temperatures. It is favorable for mixing anti-freezing admixture at the time of winter construction.

Properties

The dosage is typically 1.5%~5.5%, 3.0% for high strength concrete.

The amount of VF-3 used in concrete will be slightly adjusted depending upon job requirements, such as concrete strength, variations in cement, aggregate and other job site conditions. Experiments for appropriate dosage must be carried out when changing concrete mix proportion or materials.

VF-3 can be added in concrete with other raw materials directly.

VF-3 cannot be used with naphthalene based water reducing admixture.

Experiment must be done when VF-3 is used together with other admixtures.

Packaging, Transport and Storage

Powder VF-3 is available in 25kg film-lined bags. Liquid VF-3 is available in metal pail or iron tank. Other special package can also be available according to prior consultation.

VF-3 must be stored at the temperature above 0℃. Special measures should be taken to ensure entire package.

Dry and well ventilated warehouse is needed for storage. Quality guarantee of VF-3 is one year under normal conditions. If storage has surpassed the time, test must be done to confirm the validity.
